Graphical Browser

The current Item Type is Business Unit and Air Apparent is the current focal Item.  If we click on the generate button, the current focal Item is presented as a tree structure.  One of these Object Types is the next level of Organisational Structure.  If we select one of the 4, say Operations and click on the above= graphic we can see the detail appear in the right hand pane.  If we click on the text Operationsthen this becomes the new focal point of the tree structure.  We can then see the next level Business Units of Flight Logistics, Reservations and Ticketing and Technical Maintenance.  We can view Reservations and Ticketing by clicking on the ”=” graphic alongside.  If we scroll down the right hand pane we can see the full set of Item Type relationships. If we select any of these Item Types then the right hand pane is refreshed with the appropriate detail.  However if we select the middle icon above the right hand pane we can request a two-pane display rather than the default one page pane (shaded in yellow).

If we now scroll down the right hand pane to the Business Process “Owns” relationship we can see the processes Quote, Check-In and Issue Ticket.  Select Check-In but click on the =sign to the right on the process name Check-In. This shows the Check-In process Item Type relationships. If we scroll down the far right hand pane to the Application System “is supported by” relationship we can see the system called Check-In.  This refreshes the far right hand page with the relevant Item Type relationships for the Application System.

Leaving the Operations Business Unit as the focal point we can see full details of the hierarchical structure by selecting the Tree Browser.
