This workshop provides the knowledge, insights and techniques that you need to start getting real benefits.
Advanced System Delivery
We provide a range of training and education aimed at providing a thorough understanding of leading edge methods and techniques for the analysis, architecture, design and testing of commercial data rich systems. Our 5 day intensive Advanced System Design course covers delivery issues for client server, web and mobile environments and makes use of the latest techniques, technologies and thinking. While we cover the concepts, notations and techniques of UML 2, we show how to go beyond these to a more efficient, effective and accessible method - Advanced Systems Delivery.
Agile Project Management
We provide training and education in our advanced project and programme management method: Agile Project Management (APM). The essential idea behind APM is to exploit project management techniques which are
- Adaptive to the situation, project type, participant skills
- Light but sacred i.e. no redundant administration or overhead, but enough key deliverables to ensure proper management, reduction of risk and high quality
- Sensitive to how people and teams work
- Capable of creating long term high performing teams and organizations where individuals are inspired, not burnt out
In addition, we have married the techniques with our architecture approach to ensure that projects are well aligned with organizational goals, that programs of related projects are properly prioritised and coordinated, and that development teams work closely with architects and project management to achieve joint success. The techniques also exploit advanced estimating and scheduling techniques, including critical chain.
Business Process Modelling
We provide training and education aimed at providing a thorough understanding of the concepts, principles and techniques of business analysis including Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN). Our training covers a number of modelling concepts including:

- Domain Modelling
- Process Modelling
After customisation needs have been defined, our experienced consultants are able to support clients through the next stages of enterprise modelling according to agreed standards.
We have unique and very effective methods and notations for rapid business process architecture definition as well as business process analysis, engineering and re-engineering. These integrate seamlessly into our Advanced Systems Delivery method, but can also be used independently or with other delivery methods.
Business Architecture Techniques and Deliverables
The course is designed for senior business analysts, enterprise architects and strategists who are, or who will become, actively involved in modeling, analysing and shaping the future of businesses and their strategic use of Information and Communication Technologies. It is a skills course rather than a methodology course, designed to expose participants to leading techniques and ways of presenting models and results of analyses. It draws on our 24+ years experience in business and academia as well as industry best practice to deliver a valuable set of tools to equip business architects.
